Terms of Use

You are responsible for access to the email inbox used for sign-in and for activity performed through your session. Do not share a one-time code. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.

You may sign out or permanently delete the account from the account menu. If you cannot access that control, request deletion by contacting hello@origamisite.com. Some information may be retained only where law or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims requires it.

You must not:

• break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
• post abusive, threatening, deceptive, discriminatory or unlawful content;
• impersonate another person or falsely claim an affiliation;
• probe, bypass or interfere with security, rate limits or access controls;
• introduce malware, automate abusive traffic or degrade the service for others;
• scrape or reproduce the service at a volume or in a manner that harms it; or
• use the Gallery for unsolicited advertising or commercial spam.

We may remove content, limit access or close an account when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users or comply with law. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to contact us.

Some models are kirigami and require scissors or another cutting tool. On-screen movement is a visual guide, not a guarantee that a physical material or tool is safe. Use suitable paper, a stable surface and appropriate tools; cut away from your body; and stop if an instruction is unclear.

Children and anyone who cannot safely handle cutting tools should be supervised by a responsible adult. You assume ordinary risks associated with paper, scissors and craft activity. See the separate Disclaimer for more detail.

OrigamiSite is a creative activity that some people may find calming. It is not therapy, counselling, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice or an emergency service, and it does not claim to prevent, treat or cure any physical or mental-health condition.

Do not delay professional care because of anything on this site. If you may be in danger or facing a health emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional.

As between you and OrigamiSite, you keep rights you already have in an original creation or caption. By deliberately publishing a fold to the Quiet Gallery, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize and display that post solely to operate, secure and promote the Gallery and shared link. The licence ends when the post is deleted, subject to reasonable backup expiry and copies already made by others.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights to anything you publish. We may remove content that violates these terms or presents a legal or safety risk. To report or remove a post, contact us with its link.

The service software, interface, copy, branding, model illustrations and compilation are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial folding, share links and downloaded share cards, and link to public pages. No other licence is granted. Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer where prohibited, or present the service as your own.

The service relies on third-party infrastructure and may link to websites we do not control. Their terms, availability and privacy practices apply to their services. A link does not mean we endorse every statement, product or practice on the destination site.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free availability. We do not guarantee that every visual simulation exactly matches every physical paper, tool, device or browser. Nothing here excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OrigamiSite and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, lost profits or loss arising from guest data removed by a browser, third-party services or use of physical tools contrary to safety guidance.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be limited, or any other liability or mandatory consumer remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

Contact us first and we will try to resolve a concern informally. These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the service operator, without overriding mandatory consumer protections or a right to bring a claim in a court available under applicable law. Nothing here requires arbitration or waives a non-waivable right.

We may revise these terms. The date above will change, and material changes affecting account users will be communicated by a reasonable notice or email when possible.
